Covid secure venue

How we are keeping you safe

During the coronavirus pandemic the health and wellbeing of our workforce, visitors and local community is our number one priority. We are following Government guidelines and have implemented strict new measures within the Tomlinson Centre in order to minimise the risk of infection.

We all share a responsibility to ensure that the centre can operate safely and in accordance with Government advice.

We will do that by:

  • Introducing staggered start, break and finish times between groups to avoid overcrowding and groups mixing
  • Having clear signage and guidance for moving around the centre
  • Having additional hand sanitising points
  • Maintaining records of all visitors and staff to support NHS Test and Trace
  • Increasing the frequency of our cleaning routines
  • Limiting the amount of equipment available in all rooms
  • Disinfecting room furniture before and after each session
  • Wearing face coverings when transiting around the building

We are asking all visitors to our site to:

  • Not visit the centre if you are displaying any Covid symptoms or are feeling unwell
  • Wear a face covering when entering and moving around the building
  • Use the hand sanitiser stations provided on entry and exit
  • Follow instructions from staff and observe all directional signage
  • Observe the 2m distancing rules at all times
  • Only use the lift if you have a disability or health condition, with a maximum of 1 person at any one time
  • Adhere to your given arrival window. This will be different for the trainer and session attendee. Please ensure you are on time
  • Not congregate and to give way where space is limited
  • Only leave the room during training sessions if absolutely necessary
